Terms of use

These terms apply to Nanabee Sleep, Nanabee Names and Nanabee Moments ("the apps"), offered by Ivan Vajs, Novi Sad, Serbia ("we"). By using an app you agree to them. The terms of Google Play or the App Store also apply to downloads and purchases.

Not a medical device

The apps support everyday routines; they are not medical devices and do not give medical advice. In particular, the Nanabee Sleep baby monitor and cry detection do not replace supervising your child. They depend on your phones, Wi-Fi, battery and settings, and can miss sounds or lose the connection. Follow safe-sleep advice and ask a doctor about any concern for your child's health or sleep.

Using the apps

You may use the apps for your own personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, resell or reverse-engineer them, or use them in a way that breaks the law or harms others. In Names, partner matching is meant for two people who agreed to link; do not try to guess invite codes.

Free features, trials and Pro

Each app has free features. Pro unlocks more, as described on the app's Pro screen. Pro is bought separately for each app.
Subscriptions (Sleep, Moments) renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel any time in your Google Play or App Store account settings; Pro stays on until the end of the paid period.
Free trials: Sleep offers a free trial in the app, without payment details; when it ends, Pro locks again unless you buy it. Moments offers a free trial through the store on the yearly plan; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and is charged.
Lifetime and one-time purchases (Sleep, Moments, Names) are paid once and unlock Pro in that app for as long as we offer it, on the store account used to buy it. Use "Restore purchases" on a new phone.
Payments, refunds and cancellations are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their rules. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
In Names, a Pro purchase also unlocks extra likes for the linked pair, as the app describes.

Your content

Recordings, photos and pictures you make stay yours and stay on your phone. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos you add and for what you share. Stickers, frames, fonts and sounds in the apps are licensed to us; you may use them in the pictures and recordings you make for personal use and sharing, but not separately.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the apps running well, but we cannot promise they will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering a paid feature during a period you paid for, we will offer a fair solution. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes are announced in the apps.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or for losses caused by relying on the apps instead of supervising a child, by lost data on your phone, or by services of third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Serbia, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. Please contact us first at hello@nanabee.app; most things can be solved quickly.
